Will we never stop being afraid?
In the last week, hand sanitizer dispensing stations have appeared all over SHAPE. I've yet to see anyone use one, but they're everywhere. I assume this came from the US and is happening there too. It also mirrors the latest theological development. There now appear to be three elements of the Eucharist: the bread, the cup, and alcohol-based Purell. Because of course Jesus would have worried about germs in the Upper Room. But we Anglicano-Episcopalians have resisted the frenzy. And guess what? No one has died.

Purell, you've gotta be kidding. That won't protect you against germs and bacteria. Sure it will kill germs for about 15 seconds, but the only thing it will kill after the alcohol dries is time. Zytrel XP will kill germs for up to 4 hours. Zytrel XP. Spread the word. Not the germs.
(Oh, by the way, while everything I said so far is true, it's also true that I am a paid consultant to Biodefense Solutions, the company that makes Zytrel XP.)
If it's not one thing, then it's swine. I mean, come ON.
